Stacey Ward is the founder of The Cat Grooming Symposium and co-founder of the Holistic Cat Groomers Alliance. A lifetime cat lover, 14 year professional cat groomer, and feline behaviorist, she has always been an advocate for the compassionate care of cats. Known to her clients, colleagues, and cats as ‘Aunt Stacey’ she enjoys spreading the message of kind and respectful grooming with free educational videos available through her YouTube channel. In addition to her grooming responsibilities, Stacey was fortunate to train for a year as a Technician Assistant with the medical staff of Stonebriar Veterinary Centre. Certified in Pet CPR/First Aid and Feline Massage, she is an avid student of feline behavior, Reiki, and other Energy & Sound Therapies. Stacey offers private consulting for professional groomers and cat guardians. Her mission is to help others discover their inner cat guru by providing comprehensive instruction based on safe, thoughtful techniques that encourage positive experiences for cats and groomers everywhere. Sheryl Woods has been a kindred feline spirit since toddlerhood and has been owned by many cats over the years, currently 6. Being passionate about & concerned with the welfare of cats led her to launch her cat exclusive house call business, Wet Whisker Cat Grooming, after graduating from grooming school. This brought her back, full circle, to her love of animals and her original college major of zoology. Her philosophy is holistic oriented and advocates restraint free and compassionate grooming, client education, and continuing groomer education. Nutrition is emphasized as an integral part of grooming. Sheryl is the co-founder of the Holistic Cat Groomers Alliance. She volunteers grooming to shelter cats, fosters rescues, and teaches cat grooming seminars with a focus on holistic techniques at her alma mater; The Academy of Dog & Cat Grooming Arts in Arlington Heights, IL.

Kirstine Reynolds is a member of the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists and is a certified Master Pet Stylist. She is a member of the National Cat Groomer’s Institute of America and became a Certified Feline Master Groomer in September of 2011. Kirstine set a goal to be the first CFMG in Utah and she accomplished it. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers and is first aid certified for both cats and dogs. She is the owner and also a groomer at Groom with a View, a full service grooming salon located in Draper, UT. Every year she attends at least two grooming conventions and does this to stay up to date on the new trends in Pet Stlying. This includes, not just different hair styles or creative accessories, but mainly the safest and most humane way of grooming.

Owner and groomer of The Urban Pet Layton, Utah, Katrina is also a Certified Feline Master Groomer with the National Cat Groomers Institute of America and a Master Certified Professional Creative Groomer with the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers. Katrina has 22 years of grooming experience and a lifetime of experience in all aspects of the pet industry, working for veterinary clinics, breeding and showing Beagles with her mother, breeding and training Labrador Retrievers with her father for field trials, and teaching show handling and K9 obedience. Her focus now is entirely on felines, hoping to open the first feline exclusive day spa in Utah.

Angela began her lifelong love affair with cats as a young girl, always having had at least two feline companions. Today she is the respectful caretaker of many rescued cats and a pack of unruly canines too. Angela is also the owner and feline exclusive groomer at Meowser Pet Salon located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Angela has over 23 years of experience as a professional pet groomer and over 12 years of experience as a veterinary technician, including eight years of emergency medicine. Angela received her Certified Feline Master Groomer certification from the National Cat Groomers Institute of America in 2013. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers and is first aid certified for both cats and dogs. In addition she regularly pursues continuing education and is always interested in refining her skills and styles to create a holistic and peaceful grooming experience for every cat she cares for.
